Self Portrait

Silly Me

This is an interesting idea.
In some ways, it is similar to your photo of your work building where the surface level of the picture is of one thing, but there is a component that says something else. In that case, it was a picture of the sky taken in the aggregate of the reflections in the windows on the building.
In this case, it is a picture of a field, but also a self portrait. But the self portrait is skewed by perspective, and a shadow silouette
It raises curiosity and so generates an emotional context.
To me, that is an essential component of what makes art, "art" and not mere decoration. If it conveys a message and if that message evokes an emotional response - even a mild one like curiosity.
This is a simple picture, but it is art for this reason, in my estimation.
