Finally! Snow
Waking up with great anticipation for snowInstead just a couple inches of the white stuff
Out I go with the snow still falling, lightly but steadily
No great hope for much accumulation
Incredible smell of a spring storm even though it is January
Dreams of building a snowman are on hold – maybe the next storm!

Snow, hah!
I live in Houston, and it has been 70-80 more or less for a month, and 1/2" of rain for a month and a half. Both records. Both freaky.
Last year it snowed on Christmas eve for the first time ever. One of the coldest winters on record.
We've done it. We've messed up the system.

Pretty! Don't hear too much complaints about not enough snow around these parts...
We've had record breaking warmth here too. That is one of the reasons I look forward to the snow. I know it's cold and the roads are slick but it is SO beautiful. And I really want to build a snowman!!
Yay for snow! Hope it holds-out awhile.
