spring in the air
(flooded corral at Crown Hill Park) I have noticed something the last couple of mornings.
Warmer? Yes, but that’s not it.
Snow melting? Yes, but that’s not it.
Ground no longer frozen? Yes, but that’s not it.
What then???
I can smell spring!

I remember that smell from my years in Missouri! We don't get it here as we don't get the change of season. I miss it... but I don't miss winter.
Speaking of which, there may well be snow in the Santa Cruz tomorrow!
Wow! Spring in CO already?! :-) I love the flooded area. Everything has such a peaceful shade of blue!
