wind-whipped snow

On the morning after our third round of snowstorms, Top of the World Park was blanketed in deep snow, still completely free of footprints at this early hour. I was the first animal up there and I almost didn’t want to disturb the pristine nature of the landscape.

Wind-whipped patterns on the snow were the most beautiful part of this sunrise. It was in the 20’s but it felt warmer as the sun rose, casting pink shadows on the white ripples.

Hey, had to drop in and see how you were doing with this latest storm. You are out and shootin', so I guess you're OK.

Nice shots.
