each one more beautiful than the last...

each.....individual....leaf.

It is like a case of temporary obsessive-compulsive disorder. There is such poignancy in knowing how quickly the colors will fade. Best to give in to the senses and
count out as many favorites as time will allow.

Enjoy it while it lasts! Our leaves haven't even started changing color yet! Probably in a week or two, we'll get some, then it will be over nearly as quickly as it started!
Fall is definitely my most favorite season of the year. Watching the colors develop and change nearly over night is a sheer joy. My only regret is that it is short lived but then again maybe that’s why it is so special
We're still a month away here :0
The top picture looks very inviting.
Gorgeous!
We don't have the four seasons here. Summer is half the year, then fall comes and a few things turn color but not very many, and that hasn't started yet (still green). A lot of leaves do eventually fall, but it's green all year, and with flowers. Wildflower season in March/April is the most colorful/beautiful time. There's no actual winter (in my opinion).
You've really captured those red leaves.
